HOW WE PRICE OUR STAFF

What You’re Really Paying For (And What You’re Not)

At XS, we don’t publish cookie-cutter rates because no two events are alike. Some staff might cost $35/hour, others closer to $95/hour — it depends on the skill set, role complexity, and timing. Instead, we price each quote around what your event actually needs and your budget.

This way, you only pay for real value, not for generic packages or inflated “premium” bundles.

NOT CHEAPER. JUST SMARTER.

WHAT SHAPES STAFFING RATES

Not all events are created equal. Neither are their rates.

LOCATION

AND TRAVEL

Remote locations, convention centers, high-traffic highways, and late-night events may require extra travel time or reimbursements for staff parking and gas.

EVENT

DURATION

Longer bookings often reduce the hourly rate, while short shifts may cost more per hour. Multi-day events may qualify for discounts; overtime is billed separately as per the state labor law.

TYPE OF STAFF

Standard roles like servers and bartenders follow industry norms. Specialized staff—like models, multilingual reps, or tech experts—cost more due to training, skill level, or performance scope.

STAFF

DUTIES

Basic roles like setup or guest support follow standard rates. Tasks requiring leadership, multitasking, or overnight shifts may raise the rate due to complexity and responsibility.

STAFF UNIFORM

If your event calls for formalwear, branded gear, or performance costumes, that affects staffing costs. Standard black attire? No extra charge. Custom look? Custom rate.
