1. WHAT IS XS
XS stands for Xenia Shek, the real person behind the force. A staffing database, call center, and booking platform all in one. A hands-on operator who built this company after spending two decades working across four countries, four industries, and thousands of client interactions. Today, XS operates in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. We intentionally stay local because understanding a city’s ins and outs is not something you can do from a distance. It takes being on the ground, knowing the venues, the traffic patterns, the loading docks, and the people. Because when something matters, clients want to know exactly who is accountable. So do we.
2. WHY WE STARTED
We did not build XS to reinvent event staffing. We built it to do the fundamentals better. Over the years, we watched clients struggle to find staff who were properly matched to their events. We watched staff accept assignments without enough information to succeed. So we built something different, an agency that listens to everyone in the room. We give clients staff who arrive prepared. We give staff an agency that respects them, listens to them, and pays them fairly. We are transparent about our rates, what portion goes to staff, and what taxes and benefits we cover. We also give honest, constructive feedback to every applicant because they deserve a better shot each time. That is why we exist.
3. THE COMMUNICATION GAP
The strongest events are built on clear communication long before the first guest walks through the door. We saw a clear opportunity to match staff more precisely to events, to equip every team member with the information they need to succeed, and to establish a communication standard the industry was missing. So we built a direct communication system that moves every critical event detail from the client straight to the staff. Every question gets asked. Every detail gets documented. Every team member arrives with full context, a clear role, and the confidence to perform at their best. When our team walks into your event, they already know the room.

CEO HUMAN LOGISTICS
I started my career at the age of 14, helping my mother sell sweets at a local market during summer breaks in a small town in the middle of Siberia. My mother was a businesswoman, and I followed in her footsteps.
I left Russia at 24. First Italy, then London, then Dubai, and finally the United States. Twenty years across four continents, four industries, and more cultures than I can count. Ceramic production in Italy from 2010 to 2015. Oil and gas in London from 2013 to 2014. Beauty distribution and my very first business, a ladies' salon, in Dubai from 2015 to 2020. Event staffing in the United States from 2021 to 2024.
Different industries. Different countries. Different clients. One constant: the difference between good and great always comes down to logistics.
Shipping spare parts from Italy to Indonesia. Planning an oil spill response conference in Kazakhstan. Stocking beauty salons in Dubai. Booking 15 servers for a gala in New York at the last minute.
The details change. The discipline does not. But over the years, I learned something equally important. The best logistics in the world mean very little if you do not truly understand what the client is trying to accomplish.
Every successful project starts with listening. I love communicating with our clients and our staff. People are extraordinary when they feel respected, appreciated, and heard. That principle sits at the core of everything we do at XS. Every client is a partner. Every staff member is an invaluable asset.
When I launched XS Event Staffing, I brought both principles with me: disciplined execution and genuine curiosity about people. Because a great event is not magic. It is preparation. It is anticipation. It is asking the right questions before problems appear.
When a client has a unique request, we do not look for excuses. We look for solutions.

Today, XS grows the same way we serve events: intentionally. We expand where our clients need us, where our team can support them properly, and where we can maintain the level of service that built our reputation in the first place.
I show up at events myself. I step in on the floor when needed. I travel on 24 hours' notice. I speak directly with our clients and our staff. Because the people who show up for you, who anticipate your needs and ask the right questions, are the ones you remember.
